About Us
My name is Margo Spreitzer, and I have been doing pottery for many years, mostly as a hobby. I learned to throw in 1977 in college and have been doing pottery on and off, since. Now that I've retired from my 8-5 office job I am doing pottery almost every day. Have a home studio in my basement
Although my site shows mainly mugs with various textures and or details and colors, I do make more than just mugs, such as bowls, pitchers, teapots, etc.
I became fascinated with pottery when saw a potter throwing on a pottery wheel. I was 8 years old but I knew then that's what I wanted to do, but it took me until College to finally have the opportunity to learn the skill.
